Should I use Legal Zoom?
From my experience the answer is definitely NO!
First of all the overcharge for many services you can do yourself. They seem like a good deal at first. I wanted to get a copyright for some things I’m writing and I thought I could get a better deal than the $200 a lawyer typically charges. I found LegalZoom which offered to do it for $90 which seems like a good price. Then with a little bit of research I found out you could submit the same exact form yourselft at copyright.gov for $30. On top of that. LegalZoom sends you endless amounts of spam, even when you opt out. I’m sure there is a violation somewhere here. I had to many put in a junk filter to get rid of their spam.
